pumpkin-spice

Here is a great recipe for a pumpkin spiced latte that is perfect to serve to your family members and friends over the upcoming holidays. It is easy to make and will make your home smell so good! The scent of the combination of pumpkin, vanilla, and cinnamon aroma will fill your home. You can make it a couple of hours ahead of time so you won’t have to rush as your guest arrive. It has a wonderful taste that is warm and sweet with a hint of pumpkin flavor, and is as good as any coffee shop’s pumpkin latte.

Ingredients

6 cups of milk (you can use whole, 2%, skim, your choice)
4-6 cups of strongly brewed coffee (dark roast works great)
½ cup of pumpkin puree
½ cup of vanilla extract
½ cup of sugar
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
3 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

In your crock pot, combine the milk and coffee.
Whip together the pumpkin, vanilla, sugar and cinnamon and pour into the crockpot.
Mix together well.
Toss in 3-4 cinnamon sticks.
Cover the crockpot, and cook on high for 2 hours.

The recipe serves about 15, if you have a smaller group you can cut the ingredients in half. Hope you enjoy this recipe and have a Happy Thanksgiving Day!
